English wheel is designed to form smooth curves from flat sheets of metal. They are mainly used in car, motorcycle, aviation and racing car construction or restoration where sheet metal panels need to have compound curves formed.

Not all English wheels are the same. A 940mm throat depth and box tubing frame make our EW89D stand out from competing models. We include 13 bottom anvils and 3 upper wheels.



  • 1.6mm (16 gauge) mild steel capacity.
  • 940mm throat depth can handle almost any project.
  • Comes with 3 upper wheels (152mm x 57mm).
  • 13 hardened bottom anvils (70mm wide):
    •  Radius anvils:  Flat, 50.8, 101.6, 152.4, 203.2, 304.8, 609.6, 914.4mm
    •  3mm (1/8") step anvil
    •  38mm (1-1/2" )and  19mm (3/4") bead anvils.
    •  19mm (3/4") radius narrow anvil
    •  19mm (3/4") flat narrow anvil 


  • You can roll beads as well as form metal on this English wheel.
  • All upper wheels and lower anvils use sealed bearings.
  • Swivel head lets you either push material directly into the throat or at a 90° to it.
  • Quick-release cam allows you to release the panel without changing tension.
  • Adjust the tension via the kick tensioner wheel.
